Her eyes loved wondrously,
her heart enormously,
her soul without bounds.
As the clouds covered the blue sky,
their embrace like the waves of the sea,
she gazed over the field of grass
and pink and purple and blue wildflowers.
The wind promised the impossible,
the branches held her spirit in their tangles
and lifted her up to the heavens
to see the stars and the galaxies;
Her dress
thin sheet of white,
long and fluttering fleece,
parted limbs
and rusted lips;
She watched as the world spun,
at the top of everything,
and felt for a moment
that she was not as alone as she thought.
